All positions were voted on and passed. Fernie to be in a non-elected position and coordinate events.
Changes in by-laws + Membership Agreement (15 min limit)
We updated the bylaws to change SFC to APF. We also looked at the membership agreement to bring it inline with what we adopted which is 8hrs of volunteer work or 4 days of community workdays per year as well as compost duties. Our bylaws allow the leadership team to change the bylaws and the member agreement for new members. We apologize that we took it on ourselves to update the membership agreement for new members without prior announcement and discussion. The new membership agreement will apply to new members. There is no vote for these changes.
Additionally, the leadership team will make an effort to send out agenda topics before the monthly leadership meetings.
What should we do for the giving garden and children’s garden? (15min limit)
Mark Smolen and Jackie Muit will oversee the 2 giving garden plots and manage the produce and donation schedule. The Children's garden still needs a leader to spearhead the community outreach. We as the membership will provide monthly maintenance at the community workdays and upkeep the space until someone can oversee it.
